my 7 month old

I cant believe my little one is already 7 months old today, i could have sworn i just had him yesterday.

Day 8

Camden has amazed me once again. He is the most perceptive baby I have ever met. If you hand him a toy, he grips it in between his tiny fingers and just stares at it, looking at it's different parts and feeling its shape. He does this with people too. If he's never met you before he reaches for your face and will study your features. He'll run his fingers over your nose and mouth inspecting every part of you. I know it sounds so strange to say because he is only five months old, but I swear he has the mind of a much older baby. I'm probably biased but he is the most intelligent baby I have ever met.

Camden got to visit with his cousin yesterday who is three weeks older and lives in Arizona. Unfortunately it was at a wake, but Camden adores babies. He just wants to touch them and "talk" to them. I know in the future I will have to give him some siblings, and I am definitely okay with that. On a note that is not baby related, I just started reading The Hunger Games and I am in love with it. I could have stayed up all night reading it. 

Day 7: Finally Some Sleep

I have finally found a solution to our sleeping problem. Let him sleep in his swing. He fell asleep in there around 9 and he will usually only sleep in there for an hour or two, but he slept until 2. It doesn't sound like a lot of sleep, but when you're used to sleeping in 2 hour increments, it's a lot. Camden has been constantly peeing out the sides of his diaper. He is too big for size one diapers, but too small for size two so I'm left with constant soaked pants and tons of clothes to wash.

I went and returned one of the outfits he got for Christmas because he got a duplicate of it and I couldn't help but shop a little. He needs some bigger sized clothes because after 9 months he has almost nothing. He still wears anywhere from 3 to 6 months size clothes depending on the brand and whether we're talking about pants or shirts and of course I had to get him a pair of shoes because baby shoes are my weakness.
